The New Student Financial Planning (SFP) System is Live!

Managing your financial aid at NOVA just got easier.  Our new Student Financial Planning (SFP) system is now active for the upcoming 2026-27 aid year (for Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027).

What to Do Now

If you already submitted your 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), your next steps are waiting for you in SFP:

  • Log in to SFP: Access the new portal to view your status.
  • Upload Documents: Check your homepage in SFP and upload any requested documents directly.

SFP vs. SIS: Which One Do I Use?

Use SFP for:

  • 2026-27 Financial Aid (for Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027).

  Use SIS for:

  • 2025-26 Financial Aid (current year through Summer 2026).
  • All other functions such as Registration, Tuition Payments, Grades, etc.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office.

Make your education more affordable with scholarships, grants and more.

Paying for college may seem like an overwhelming task, but at NOVA, we’re here to help you. We’ll walk you through the types of aid available to you — from scholarships and grants to work study and loans — and how to apply for them.
