STEM Camps

Led by teachers and college students enrolled in STEM programs, our STEM camps introduce fundamental STEM topics and skills at an early age to generate interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Camps are focused on hands-on, project based learning for students to explore STEM fields and to chart a course for future STEM education and workforce opportunities. Our STEM camp tracks include Coding, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Fabrication, Rocketry, Design Thinking and more!

Bridge Programs

NOVA’s Bridge Programs are intended to connect Juniors and Seniors in High School to college career pathways so that they can make informed decisions about their college education.

Bridge Program students can choose from 3 Bridge Program tracks: Computer Science, Information Technology, and Engineering Technology, where they will engage in interactive activities, career path workshops and lessons, and meet NOVA faculty and industry representatives.

These 2-week programs (3 hour sessions, 4 days a week) will provide overviews of college resources and educational services at NOVA, financial literacy, academic planning, and students will gain critical skills and receive college credit through our College Success Skills course (SDV 101).

Who can apply?

Graduating High School seniors/current juniors. The bridge program is intended for students who have little or no experience with these fields and would like to learn more! Students will be able to apply for next summer’s Bridge Programs in January 2022.
