Important Update: 2026–2027 FAFSA Processing Timeline
The Financial Aid Office is excited to announce that we will launch a new financial aid IT system for the 2026–2027 academic year which includes the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 terms.
Students who complete the 2026-2027 financial aid application process should expect to receive notification that NOVA has received their FAFSA by the end of January 2026. Once 2026-2027 financial aid applications are received, reviewed, and processed, awards will be posted in the Student Information System (SIS) under the Financial Aid tile. Any requests for additional information will also be communicated there. At this time, we expect that we will begin the awarding process in early April 2026.
