Student Affairs Paid Student Internship Program

NOVA Corps is a paid student internship program that lets you gain real-world experience while making a difference on campus. As a NOVA Corps intern, you’ll support students, work alongside NOVA staff, and build in‑demand skills like communication, leadership, and teamwork—all while earning $18 per hour and preparing for life after college.

Application Periods Internship Starts
June 1 - June 10 August for Fall 
January for Spring

NOVA Career Services is excited to announce a new partnership with Year Up United for Year Up Career Connect! This program will help students gain the skills, confidence and community that will help them launch their career after completing their NOVA program.

Year Up Career Connect is a six-week program (just two-to four-hours per week) with a curriculum proven to equip students with the practical skills top companies are looking for.

The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a government-wide program co-sponsored by the U.D. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Defense. The WRP program aims to increase the representation of highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities through summer internships or permanent positions.

Eligibility:

  • Apply through your school's career center or disability services office.
  • Be a US Citizen
  • Have a Schedule A qualified disability
  • Be a current secondary university, undergraduate, graduate/doctoral student or
  • Recent graduate from a U.S. accredited college or university

AFRL leads the discovery, development, and delivery of warfighting technologies for our air, space and cyberspace forces. Students should review the many undergraduate internship or research project opportunities available through AFRL.

Commonwealth STEM Industry Internship (CSIIP) is available to two- and four-year college students. CSIIP partners with companies offering paid internships in STEM fields throughout the state.
