The Medical Education Campus (MEC) is located in Springfield and offers quality education to more than 3,500 students each year.

The Medical Education Campus (MEC) is a technologically sophisticated specialized campus dedicated to the education and preparation of Nursing and Health Science professionals with a strong commitment to workforce development and continuing education.

Associate Degrees are offered in: Nursing (RN), Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Radiography-Diagnostic Imaging (RT-R),   Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS, RDCS or RVT), Respiratory Therapy (CRT) and (RRT), Health Information Management (RHIT), Dental Hygiene (RDH) and Emergency Medical Services (EMT-P).

Certificate Programs are offered in: Clinical Data Coding, Dental Assisting, Medical Laboratory Assisting, and Phlebotomy.

Numerous pre-employment and healthcare career enhancement programs are offered by the MEC's Workforce Development Division.

The Medical Education Campus has a five-level parking garage attached to the building for Visitors, Students and Faculty

Level 1:  Reserved for Hourly Pay Customers ONLY

Levels 2  and 3: Reserved for ‘B’ Permit Students ONLY

Level 4: Reserved for ‘A’ Permit Faculty/Staff ONLY

Level 5: Overflow level used when space cannot be found on Levels 1-4/Staff

The campus is accessible by Metro. Take the Metro to the Franconia-Springfield station. From there, the Fairfax Connector Shuttle Bus Routes 331 and 332 will take you to campus.
