Northern Virginia Community College's (NOVA) Alexandria Campus is a unique academic institution; a close-knit community of various academic programs located within minutes of the nation’s capital.

With over 50 years of educating community, business and government leaders, the Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria Campus is proud to continue an education focused on student achievement, committed to the values of access, opportunity and excellence. This is enhanced by our mission to deliver world-class traditional and online post-secondary teaching, learning and workforce development to ensure our community, region and the Commonwealth of Virginia have an educated population, both domestically and globally.

The Alexandria Campus has more than 17,000 students and offers 13 world languages, English as a Second Language program, the Motorcycle Training program via Workforce Development, an active Honors program and much more. In addition, we have one of the premier entertainment venues, the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Arts Center, which seats over 500.

Teaching and instructional support are intertwined with NOVA's overall strategic goals -- students conduct research in labs, classrooms and libraries while learning from faculty of the highest regards. The vast array of learning resources available to the College from our library, archives, computer labs, writing center, art and photography collections remain unparalleled in the community college system.
