NOVA's Tutoring Centers offer two types of services: in-person at our campus centers and virtual tutoring via Zoom. To schedule an appointment for tutoring, you can either click on the link below or login to MyNOVA and access EAB Navigate.
In addition to appointments, the centers also provide walk-in services. If you're on campus and need help, feel free to drop by the center. We can connect you with a tutor or assist you in scheduling an appointment for later.
Students may schedule up to two (2) tutoring appointments per week per subject. Appointments may be made up to two weeks in advance.
Appointments for courses must be made using a subject-based service. Appointments made using the "academic skills" function for course-based work will be required to reschedule. (Academic skills appointments are only for non-course-based essays or learning study skills.)
Appointments cannot be scheduled for the same subject back-to-back to ensure equal opportunity to time slots.
Please be respectful of your tutors' time by arriving on time. Tutors will leave after a 15-minute wait and mark the student as a "no-show."
If you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel by going to the online scheduling system, Navigate, or emailing the campus where you scheduled the tutoring appointment.
