Registration for Spring '10

Open registration for Spring 2010 classes starts on Nov. 16. for all students. Classes begin on Jan. 11.

Paying for College: Spring '10

Spring 2010 payment begins Nov. 30. If you enroll for classes by Dec. 17, your payment is due by 5 p.m. on Dec. 18. If you enroll on or after Dec. 18, your tuition is due by 5 p.m. the next business day.

Thanksgiving Holiday

The college will close for the Thanksgiving holiday at noon on Wed., Nov. 25 and reopen on Mon., Nov. 30.

Introducing the Wait List

A new NOVAConnect function called wait list is available for spring registration. If a course section is full and has a wait list associated with it, you can put your name on the wait list and be automatically enrolled when a spot becomes available.

The wait list is easy to use. A wait list tutorial is available on the NOVAConnect website. When enrolling by telephone, you will be added automatically to the list (if available). Your schedule will show if you are enrolled or waiting.

You may put your name on several sections of a course, but please understand you will be enrolled in the first available section. Make sure you are happy with the sections you select.

Next, you need to check your schedule every morning to see if you have been enrolled and then pay your tuition by 5 p.m. on the following business day to secure the spot.

The last day to get on a wait list for any session (16-week session, first eight-week session, second eight-week session or dynamic sessions) is two business days before the semester begins. Since the spring semester starts on Jan. 11, the final day to put your name on a wait list for any spring session is Jan. 7.

The last day students will be moved from the wait list into a course will be one business day before the first day of the semester, or Jan. 8 for the spring semester.
