This resource offers NOVA students critical information for successfully transferring to Mason. You are encouraged to review the entire page for admission requirements, application deadlines, transcript information and selective major requirements. Mason enrolls transfers for both the fall and spring semesters and expects applicants to meet their application deadlines of March 1 or October 1. Official transcripts from every college and university attended both in the U.S. or any other country are required for an admission review.

The Office of Transfer Services provides transfer counselors to meet with prospective students and applicants Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on a walk-in basis. Be certain to bring copies of all college transcripts to your walk-in meeting.

This database contains courses that have been evaluated to offer transfer equivalency at the University, including all courses from the Virginia Community College System. Please note that this database is dynamic; we are constantly updating course equivalency data. While this data is as accurate and current as possible, the University retains the right to revise a transfer credit evaluation at any time.
