The Associate Campus Registrar's Office provides essential services to support students, faculty, and staff in maintaining:

Application for VA In-State Tuition Rates

Determine if you qualify for in-state tuition at Virginia Community College System colleges, including NOVA. Learn more about in-state residency requirements or in-state tuition details.

Request a Name or SSN Change

To request a name change or update your Social Security Number on your student record, you must provide legal documentation and your original Social Security card. For more details, refer to Form 125-026.

Appeal Your Out-of-State Domicile Classification

Your domicile determines your eligibility for in-state tuition rates. You can file an appeal if you have been classified as out-of-state and believe this is incorrect. Please allow up to 10 business days for your appeal to be reviewed. Learn more about the appeals process.

Request an Enrollment Verification

Need proof of your academic enrollment status? Submit the Enrollment Verification Request Form (Form 125-094). Processing takes 5-10 business days. For assistance, contact Enrollment Services.

Petition for Academic Renewal

If you are returning to NOVA after an absence of five years (15 terms) or more without earning credit, you may petition for academic renewal. Complete and submit the Academic Renewal Petition Form (Form 125-039).

Submit an Enrollment Request

Use form 125-406 to submit documentation to the Associate Campus Registrar's Office to address service indicators that prevent registration, out-of-state domicile, and other admission-related services.
