ITN 125 - Wireless-mobile Networking (w-mn) (3 CR.)

Course Description

Presents an introduction to radio frequency, FHSS, and Bluetooth technology used in mobile networking solutions. Provides instruction in the scope, goals, specifications, applications and structure of Bluetooth technology and its applications and interrelationships with Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN), Personal Area Networks (WPAN), HomeRF networks, wireless protocols, and data communications systems. Lecture - 3 hours per week CO-REQUISITES OR PRE-REQUISITES Prerequisite is ITN 100 and pre- or co-requisite is ITN 101. Students must be able to read and write at a college level.
