ARC 225 - Site Planning and Technology (3 CR.)
Course Description
Studies the impact of building codes and zoning ordinances on site design; storm drainage, grading design, erosion and flood control; site materials for paving and retaining walls; site utilities. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
General Course Purpose
To make the student familiar with the variety of forces acting upon site design, materials and methods utilized in site construction.

None.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply building codes and zoning ordinances to site design
- Design an architectural site
- Estimate cut and fill quantities
- Read site plans
- Identify materials used in site construction
- Demonstrate familiarity with site construction processes
