Advising Services
Students can connect with academic advising for support with getting started at NOVA, establishing academic goals, exploring transfer and career opportunities, navigating NOVA policies and resources, choosing and/or changing a program of study, interpreting advisement reports and progress toward graduation, reviewing course selections and more.
Students who are on academic probation or need more substantial personal support should explore our counseling services.
Academic advising is available for walk-in service at campus Advising Centers or virtually through video, phone, and chat. Students can also make an appointment for advising using the Navigate Student tool in MyNOVAAdvising 101
