ADV 100 sessions are virtual group advising sessions designed to help you:
Note: These sessions are strongly encouraged for new students but are not required. You can also register for classes on your own through the SIS course enrollment tile in myNOVA.
Students are not assigned to an individual advisor. Instead, you’ll be connected with a team based on your Academic Pathway. Attending an ADV 100 session is the best way to meet your team and get started.
ADV 100 sessions will open to new students beginning each April through the beginning of August. Students with 0–15 credit hours will receive emails from EAB Navigate with instructions on how to register. Please monitor your email for ADV 100 registration information, and check Navigate regularly for the most up-to-date session offerings.
