CCAMPIS: Supporting Parenting Students

CCAMPIS is a Federal Department of Education grant that is meant to assist students who are parents with funds to pay for childcare so they can focus more energy on staying in school, completing their college goals, and graduating.

CCAMPIS is focused on the needs and interests of student parents and expecting students. We actively work to advocate for student parent needs both at NOVA and in the community.  In addition to the following, the CCAMPIS Team will be happy to direct you to other support services that NOVA provides to our students.

CCAMPIS Programs, Services and Resources:

  • Childcare Grants
  • Student Savings Match Program

  • These funds pay directly to the childcare provider under the stipulations of the federal grant.
  • Funding will be the main determinant of the length of time a student receives grant money; however, the goal of the program is to assist students as long as they are students at NOVA. Students will need to continue to meet the eligibility requirements of the program.
