Hours of Operation

With COVID-19 cases rising rapidly across the region, NOVA is taking proactive steps to limit the spread of the virus and help keep our community safe.

As previously planned, NOVA will close for winter break beginning Friday, December 24. The college will reopen on Monday, January 3 with most NOVA employees teleworking from January 3 through 11. All in-person campus events will also be suspended from January 3 through 11.

During this time, all student and employee services will be offered virtually.

Testing Center Staff is teleworking Monday, 1.3.2022 – Tuesday, 1.11.2022 and happy to help you remotely: novatesting@nvcc.edu

The health and safety of our NOVA community is our top priority. NOVA will continue to monitor local COVID positivity rates and trends and guidance from authoritative sources, including the CDC and the Virginia Department of Health (VDH). If there are any additional changes to the start of spring semester, based on local conditions, those will be announced by Friday, January 7.
