Northern Virginia Community College has closed its Annandale Campus, effective 8 a.m., Thursday, March 12, through Sunday, March 15. Updates will be posted on the college website, www.nvcc.edu.
The Annandale campus is closed out of an abundance of caution. An individual on the campus disclosed possible exposure to others who had tested positively for the COVID-19 virus. The Annandale Campus will undergo a deep cleaning in accordance with CDC guidelines and is anticipated to reopen on March 16. At this time, the Annandale Campus is the only Northern Virginia Community College campus that is closed; this closure does not impact the Brault Administration Building.
The safety and well-being of NOVA’s students, faculty, staff, and the wider campus community are the college’s greatest concern, and NOVA is monitoring the situation and is prepared to take further action as needed.
For further questions about this campus closure, please contact Vice President of Workforce Development, Steve Partridge, spartridge@nvcc.edu.
