Event Description
Join us at the Richard J. Ernst Invitational that it is co-sponsored by NOVA's Institute for Public Service and NOVA's College-wide Office of Student Activities. Sunday's competition on January 26, 2014 is a regional tournament sponsored by the Southern Northern Atlantic Forensic Union.

Please consider coming to the tournament to support the NOVA Forensics Team as they play host to schools on Saturday and then compete at the regional tournament on Sunday! Other confirmed attendees for the weekend include: James Madison University, George Mason University, Nassau Community College, Cedar Crest College, Seton Hall University, University of Richmond, Saint Joseph's University, and many more!

We welcome you and your students to come to campus, interact with the competitors and coaches and watch some amazing performances! Some of the competitive events you could see are: debate, extemporaneous speaking, poetry, prose, impromptu speaking, dramatic duo, informative speaking, and persuasive speaking!

The tournament kicks off on Saturday morning with registration in Bisdorf room 158. After registration, students and judges will be assigned to various classrooms in Bisdorf to compete in their respected events.
