Event Description Lyceum Event - Panel Discussion - The Intersection of Art, Gender & Activism - Thursday, March 28 - 12:30 p.m.
Annandale Lyceum Committee presents a panel titled 'The Intersection of Art, Gender & Activism'.
The panel will take place on the Annandale campus in the Student Services Building (CA) Room 302.
The panel will discuss the roles American women have played in the past and present in using their art to address social issues in the United States and beyond.
Panelists include author and poet B. Sharise Moore, performance artist Angela 'Anonamas' Ballard and Daphne Charles, Executive Director of Project Inspire, an arts-based organization. The panel is moderated by playwright Khadijah Z. Ali-Coleman who is also an adjunct professor at NoVa. |
