ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The Board of Northern Virginia Community College will hold a retreat on Monday, November 15th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Fine Arts Building, in Room 202, on NOVA’s Alexandria Campus located at 5000 Dawes Avenue Alexandria, VA, 22311. This is an open meeting. However, the Board will not receive public comment.

There will be two segments, both in Room 202 and separated by dinner.
4:10pm to 5:10pm - Healing Circle Activity
5:15pm to 5:45pm – Dinner and Conversation
5:50pm to 7pm – Presentation on and Discussion of Aspen College Excellence Program
7:00pm to 7:30 pm - Optional Jazz Ensemble Concert (Room 118)
The Board will have the option of attending a scheduled student jazz concert at the close of the retreat hosted by Shannon Gunn, a NOVA Alexandria Campus Jazz Ensemble instructor, and her students.
