To qualify for transfer into the NOVA Nursing Program a student must:
- have successfully completed at least one semester of an accredited RN program.
- be in good standing at their current school and have a letter of recommendation from their Dean.
- meet all current NOVA program requirements.
- have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
- complete a transfer interview with the Dean of Nursing or designee.
Admission is not guaranteed. An applicant who has been out of a nursing program for over one calendar year must apply as a new student. 25% of the degree must be completed at NOVA, therefore transfer for only the last semester is not allowed.
