Parking Permits
Permits are required in all student parking lots from 6:00 a.m. on January 23 through the end of the semester.
Vehicles that do not have a permit displayed should be parked at meters or in hourly pay lots.

Beginning November 16, 2005, spring 2006 parking permits are available to students at http://parking.nvcc.edu 24 hours after enrolling for classes.

In-Service Day (Student Services Centers Closed)
Faculty and Staff Cross-Campus Day, January 5, 2006 and March 9, 2006

Classes Start
January 9, 2006 and March 13, 2006

Application for Graduation
The last day to apply for spring semester graduation is January 20, 2006.

Commencement Ceremony
May 9, 2006

Identification Cards
You can obtain your student NOVACARD ID at campus NOVACARD Offices 24 hours after enrolling for classes or by presenting proof of enrollment and a photo ID card. Cards are required for certain college services.

Graduation
The last day to apply for graduation is September 2, 2005.

Enrollment and Class Schedule for Campuses, Extended Learning Institute, and Arlington & Reston Centers

The Extended Learning Institute (ELI) offers distance learning courses, some of which have multiple sections starting throughout the semester, depending on course capacity limits. See the ELI pages in the this schedule for more information.
