Northern Virginia Community College’s (NOVA) Alexandria Campus and College Steps has formed a new partnership to enhance the college experience for students living with autism spectrum disorders and learning and developmental disabilities.
Virginia Governor Ralph Northam and Governor Larry Hogan of Maryland have announced a unique training event for school and campus personnel, law enforcement and other first responders. The Briefings: Resiliency and Recovery After a School Crisis, will be held on April 11th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall and Art Center at Northern Virginia Community College’s Alexandria Campus.
Francesca Raoelison, a graduate of Northern Virginia Community College is one of 47 recipients of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. This highly competitive national scholarship will provide Raoelison with up to $40,000 annually for a maximum of three years to complete her bachelor’s degree.
