Web folders are available for enrolled students via MyDrive. MyDrive works similarly to products like Google Drive or Dropbox, and students access MyDrive using MyNOVA username and password.

This system provides you with the ability to easily share documents and files with others. If you are developing web applications for a class, make sure to create a folder named public for your web files. You must use the following URL format in order for your web applications to perform properly:
Any files uploaded to this file sharing system will be deleted automatically after 365 days of inactivity. Additionally, in order to protect internal systems and personal information of students, faculty and staff, Northern Virginia Community College reserves the right to delete files and documents at its own discretion without prior notice to users. Please share responsibly.
Do you have a web folder that was created before Spring of 2018? The content will be available until the end of 2018. Consider copying your content to your new MyDrive folder.
Most of these student web folders are accessible using an NVSTU account. If you don't remember your NVSTU account name, try searching for it using the NVSTU Account Search Tool.NVSTU Account Search
Here are the general connection settings for the web folders set up prior to 2018:
Access your folder using any FTP client or a program like Dreamweaver and download your files to a local resource. Once you have downloaded your files, you can upload them to MyDrive.
