WEB DEVELOPER
Career Studies Certificate AL, AN, LO, MA, WO

Purpose: This certificate teaches the skills needed to develop web sites and will prepare the student for an entry-level job as a web developer.

Prerequisites: MTH 151, ITE 115, ITE 131, and ITP 100 or equivalent knowledge.

Total credits for the Web Developer Career Studies Certificate = 28-29.

1 Visual Basic may be replaced with ITP 120 JAVA Programming I.

2 Elective may be ITP 212 Visual Basic.NET II, ITP 220 Java Programming II, ITD 132 Structured Query Language, ITD 134 PL/SQL Programming, or another relevant advanced course approved by the student’s faculty advisor.

IT courses used for this program may not be more than 10 years old, unless approved by division dean.
