ADVANCED FORENSIC INVESTIGATION
Career Studies Certificate AN, MA, WO

Purpose: This curriculum is designed as an advanced program in forensic investigation intended to provide training beyond the General Forensic career studies certificate, or to provide continuing training for private investigators, individuals in law enforcement, or persons licensed in various security and/or investigative related areas.

Admission Requirement: Successful completion of the General Forensic career studies certificate or approval from the assistant dean.

Total credits required for the Advanced Forensic Investigation Career Studies Certificate = 22-25

All first-time students must take a one-credit Student Development (SVD) course prior to enrolling in their 16th credit at NVCC.

1 Approved Forensic elective courses include the following: ADJ 118, ADJ 127, ADJ 134, ADJ 157, ADJ 165, ADJ 173, ADJ 174, ADJ 175, ADJ 176, ADJ 186, ADJ 226, ADJ 235, ADJ 236, ADJ 237, ADJ 276, ADJ 278.

2 May be ADJ, BIO, CHM, or ADJ Forensic elective.
