Uniform Certificate of General Studies (UCGS)

Build a solid foundation in the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) and NOVA general education core competency areas in NOVA's Uniform Certificate of General Studies (UCGS) program. Essentially the first year of an associate of science degree, this certificate is awarded to students in A.A. and A.S. degree programs who complete requirements.
