The curriculum is designed for individuals who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a baccalaureate degree program in business administration with a major in accounting, business management, decision science and management, information systems, finance, marketing, etc. Students will gain essential verbal and written communication skills through writing practices and speeches. Additionally, students will learn to analyze basic business data and apply basic accounting techniques to interpret the health of a business.
Courses offered within the program include Accounting, Economics, Business Communication, and Statistical Analysis, as well as the General Education requirements. Students will gain essential verbal and written communication skills through writing practices and speeches. Students pursuing a bachelor's degree upon completion of the Associate's degree at NOVA should choose the Associate of Science in Business Administration degree.

Graduates of the Business Administration AS degree may find employment in management, sales, supervision, banking, business analytics, marketing, human resources, accounting, finance, and management information systems.
