Associate Degree in Photography and Media
Build your artistic aesthetic and visual media skills in NOVA's Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Photography and Media program. With a foundation in art, theory, and technique, you'll be prepared for bachelor's degree programs in fine arts, photography, and media. Program Details
The Photography and Media AAS curriculum prepares students for diverse career options in the profession, and the AFA curriculum prepares students for transfer to BFA programs. Working professionals may also add to or update their skills. Students in all PHT classes learn to solve visual problems through the study of technique, history, theory and aesthetics, and completion of individual projects with group critiques.
Accreditations
Northern Virginia Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award the associate degree in photography and media.
