FRE 112 - CONVERSATION IN FRENCH (3 CR.)


COURSE DESCRIPTION

Emphasizes the spoken language, stressing fluency and correctness of structure, pronunciation and vocabulary. Lecture 3 hours per week.

GENERAL COURSE PURPOSE

This course provides practice in speaking and understanding French, with emphasis upon developing fluency, increasing vocabulary and improving sentence structure and pronunciation.

ENTRY LEVEL COMPETENCY

The prerequisite for this course is FRE 102 - "Beginning French II" or equivalent.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to handle successfully a variety of uncomplicated tasks and social situations. Their sentences should become longer and their grammar and pronunciation much improved.
