Testing Center - Woodbridge

Out of an abundance of caution regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention, NOVA has shifted to providing remote services beginning March 18, 2020. NOVA Testing Centers are responding to emails and voicemails but not administering exams until further notice.

NOVA is working to develop solutions for alternate forms of assessment. Students should contact their instructors with questions about examinations that will be taking place before testing centers reopen. Students with documented accommodations may contact their DSS counselors with questions about testing.

Placement testing options are being evaluated at the state level for Virginia community colleges. When plans are in place, all advisors and faculty will be notified to help each of you with placement into classes. Thank you for your patience.

Please refer to NOVA’s COVID-19 webpage for the most recent information regarding campus operations.

Tests before classes? Yes. The results of placement tests determine the Math, English, and other classes for which a student is eligible. One of the first things that most students experience on the Woodbridge Campus is its Testing Center.

The Testing Center is also the last thing that many students experience before leaving NOVA to pursue higher education or careers. And in between, many online courses do all of their testing in the Testing Center.

From beginning to end, the friendly, professional staff of the Woodbridge Campus Testing Center extends this wish, "May all your neurons be firing."

Special hours may be posted for holidays, semester breaks and summer sessions. Check the Testing Center Hours, as they often change.

Note to Students:

No outerwear is permitted in the Testing Center.  This includes, but it not limited to hats, beanies, overcoats and/or jean jackets, hoodies, sweaters, cardigans with pockets, etc.  Testing staff have final discretion as to what is and is not considered outerwear.  For questions regarding the policy, please contact testing center staff via email and/or the phone contact provided on the left hand side of this webpage.  Please plan your visit accordingly.

Please see the attached form for other guidelines and information.
