Campus Testing Centers

Announcements

NOVA campus testing centers are not administering exams at this time as COVID-19 protocols for health and safety are observed.

  • Refer to NOVA's homepage for up to date information on campus operations.
  • See NOVA COVID-19 updates for information and announcements about COVID-19 and its impact on our NOVA community.

Course testing: Please contact your individual class instructors for information about course testing.

Placement testing: Since English, math Virginia Placement Tests (VPT) and Accuplacer English placement tests are not designed to be given without a proctor, alternative criteria will be used to determine course placements.

Alternative criteria may include a combination of existing grades and measured competencies. Consult your NOVA academic counselor to determine if your unique measures qualify as alternatives to a placement test.

The testing information below regarding placement tests and other testing resources remains on our website for use when onsite testing resumes.

Testing Centers

NOVA testing centers are located on each campus. You can take placement tests at any campus location. If you are enrolled in NOVA Online courses, you may take your examinations at any NOVA testing center location. However, students enrolled in campus-based courses may take exams only on that campus. Be sure to check with your instructor for specific information regarding examinations in your course.

NOVA strives to ensure that all programs, services and activities are accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you are unable to access services or meet a faculty or staff member at the Loudoun Village due to disability, please contact the office, faculty or staff member to arrange an alternative meeting location or way to access services. If you continue to experience challenges please contact ada@nvcc.edu
