Testing Centers

Out of an abundance of caution regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) prevention, NOVA has shifted to providing remote services beginning March 18, 2020. NOVA Testing Centers are responding to emails and voicemails but not administering exams until further notice.

NOVA is working to develop solutions for alternate forms of assessment. Students should contact their instructors with questions about examinations that will be taking place before testing centers reopen. Students with documented accommodations may contact their DSS counselors with questions about testing.

Placement testing options are being evaluated at the state level for Virginia community colleges. When plans are in place, all advisors and faculty will be notified to help each of you with placement into classes. Thank you for your patience.

Please refer to NOVA’s COVID-19 webpage for the most recent information regarding campus operations.

NOTE: All of NOVA’s six campuses administer NOVA Online exams, except the Reston Center. It does not.

NOVA testing centers are located on each campus. You can take placement tests at any campus location. If you are enrolled in NOVA Online courses, you may take your examinations at any NVCC testing center location. However, students enrolled in campus-based courses may take exams only on that campus. Be sure to check with your instructor for specific information regarding examinations in your course.

*NOVA strives to ensure that all programs, services and activities are accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you are unable to access services or meet a faculty or staff member at the Loudoun Village due to disability, please contact the office, faculty or staff member to arrange an alternative meeting location or way to access services. If you continue to experience challenges please contact ada@nvcc.edu
