Lance Lacey - Fab Lab Coordinator

Lance earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Business Management from the State University of New York at Cortland.  In college, he worked as a supplemental instructor and also as a research assistant on biodiversity projects in the Caribbean region. He then spent ten years teaching high school science courses, with eight of those years with Stafford County Public Schools.  His favorite part of teaching was watching students learn through labs, hands-on activities, and field experiences.

Lance comes to NOVA from the Virginia Department of Health where he was an Environmental Health Specialist. He loves DIY projects, spending time with family and friends, and anything pertaining to science.
