Accommodations and Accessibility Support Services

If you believe you qualify for accommodations, meet with an AAS counselor on one of NOVA’s campuses.

Advising & Counseling

Campus Counseling Services, Virtual Advising and your Academic Advisor.


NOVA’s six campus bookstores carry everything you need including textbooks, school supplies, snacks, beverages, clothing and more. You can also purchase books online.

Business Offices

NOVA's Business Offices provide financial and administrative support services to the College. They are happy to answer any questions you may have about tuition, fees and financial holds.

Career Services

Career Services are available at each NOVA campus as part of the comprehensive education and students services offered at the College.

CCAMPIS: Supporting Parenting and Pregnant Students

CCAMPIS is a Federal Department of Education grant that is meant to assist students who are parents with funds to pay for childcare and other resources so they can focus more energy on staying in school, completing their college goals, and graduating.

International Education

This office supports various international initiatives for the College including international student admissions and support, student and faculty exchanges abroad and partnerships with foreign institutions.


NOVA Libraries provides access to a vast collection of materials in print, audio-visual and electronic formats that support the curriculum of each discipline, college programs and popular interests.

Military Services

NOVA’s Office of Military Services helps all members of the military community (active duty, veterans and family members) achieve their education and career goals.


NOVACard is FREE and provides our students, faculty and staff with benefits and services such as printing, copying, checking out books from a NOVA Library, purchasing from select beverage machines, purchasing from campus cafés and restaurants, access and parking.


You can order a permit, pay/appeal a citation, purchase a daily permit and find more information about NOVA’s parking rules and regulations on their website.


Each NOVA campus is staffed with police and public safety officials, emergency preparedness plans and a system for notifying students of campus closures due to inclement weather or other safety issues.

Restorative Dental Clinic

The Restorative Dental Clinic of Northern Virginia Community College provides comprehensive dental care services.


The NOVA Shuttle runs regularly between NOVA campuses and centers and nearby Metro stations. All NOVA students, staff or faculty can ride for free by showing their NOVA Card (required to ride).

Student Affairs

We have the information and resources you need to reach your educational and professional goals; from advising services to help you plan your objectives to computer labs where you can do work.

Learn about English, math and ESL placement exams and makeup tests at NOVA.


If you need help with a specific class, visit one of NOVA’s tutoring centers. All NOVA campuses provide tutoring services FREE to current NOVA students.

Wellness and Mental Health

NOVA is concerned about more than academic success, we also care about the emotional and physical well-being of our Nighthawks. The Office of Wellness and Mental Health provides resources, support, and interventions to members of the NOVA community.
