NOVACard is FREE and provides our students, faculty and staff with benefits and services such as printing, copying, checking out books from a NOVA Library, purchasing from select beverage machines, purchasing from campus cafés and restaurants, access and parking.
NOVA is concerned about more than academic success, we also care about the emotional and physical well-being of our community members. The NOVACares process provides anyone a way to share his or her concerns by submitting an online incident report.

College Pathway Initiatives are four specialized college access programs at NOVA that collectively support more than 10,000 students of all ages across Northern Virginia.
Each NOVA campus is staffed with police and public safety officials, emergency preparedness plans and a system for notifying students of campus closures due to inclement weather or other safety issues.
The NOVA Shuttle runs regularly between NOVA campuses and centers and nearby Metro stations. All NOVA students, staff or faculty can ride for free by showing their NOVA Card (required to ride).
