Extended hours for Counseling, Student Success/First Year Advising, Enrollment Services and Financial Aid:
August 13-August 31:
Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.,
Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 18: 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Monday and *Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
*Pathway advising is available virtually on Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at AskPathway@nvcc.edu.
Spring Break and October Non-Instructional Days:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Peak Registration Periods: Student Services has an extended schedule during peak registration periods that includes the week of August 13 through the first week of classes, as well as the week after winter break through the first week of classes. During these times offices will observe the following schedule:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Advising and Counseling
If you are a new student or have questions, a counselor will help guide you through the sometimes confusing administrative procedures and requirements. All NOVA campuses have counselors available by appointment or walk-in.
