Provides oversight for academic standing processes and retention efforts related to student support.
Academic standing levels are based on a student's overall grade point average (GPA), and the procedure by which a student's progress in their program is monitored at the conclusion of each term or semester. The purpose of stating your academic standing is to alert you as early as possible to any problem that may negatively impact your progress.
There three levels of scholastic achievement – Presidential Scholars, Dean’s List, and Good Standing; and four levels of scholastic discipline – Warning, Probation, Suspension, and Dismissal.
See the Academic Standing Policy for details.
