If you do not know your username follow the directions below.
- Click on the gold myNOVA tab on the NOVA home page.
- Click the green myNOVA button.
- When the new page appears. Click on the Forgot Username link.
- In the first section enter your First Name, Last Name, and DOB(MMDDYY). In the second section you can now choose to enter either your EMPLID or SSN. In the third section you can now choose to enter any of the following: Faculty/Staff Email, Phone Number, and EMPLID or SSN (If not already entered in the previous section).
- Click the Search button
- If the information you entered is correct and present in your SIS profile, your username will appear.
Yes - In accordance with the "Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974" Public Law 93-380 (Education Amendment of 1974), enrollment verifications cannot be released without a written request and signature from the student, except to certain authorized college officials.
* Students can submit the Enrollment Verification Request Form 125-094 to the Campus Registrar office via email: enrollmentservices@nvcc.edu (Allow 5 to 10 business days for processing.

- Log into myNOVA.
- Click the SIS icon.
- Click on My Student Information box.
- Click the Student Center link.
- Your holds list will be listed on the right side of the window. Click on Details and follow the instructions to have the hold removed from your file. If you have questions, contact the department listed on the screen for more information.
Level I- Complete the application for Virginia in-State Tuition Rate form with documentation. Submit all documentation to the Campus Student Services Center. Allow up to 5 to 10 business days for review and processing.
Level II – Reconsideration appeals affirm your denial; you may request further reconsideration and complete form 125-022 located in the form’s library. This appeal must be submitted within 10 business days after Level I denial. Allow up to 5 to 10 business days for review and processing.
Level III – Reconsideration for Final review – If your lever II reconsideration is denied, you may request a final review by the Domicile Appeal Committee. Allow up to 5 to 10 business days for review and processing.
Students who have attended in the last three years may view and print unofficial transcript via myNOVA.
- Please go to the website at www.nvcc.edu and click MyNOVA and click MYNOVA log-in.
- Click SIS - My Student Information.
- Select Academic Records.
- Select view unofficial transcript and follow the instructions to view or print your record.
You may also visit one of the campus Student Services Centers to obtain a copy of your unofficial transcript by showing a photo ID.
Qualification Options for Tuition/Residency Undocumented Students:
The Tuition Equity Provision established in July 2020 allows for any student who calls Virginia their home but is unable to demonstrate legal domicile to be able to apply under this exception. This is not the same as qualifying as "domiciled in Virginia". Please click here for further information.
