Notice of Nondiscrimination
Northern Virginia Community College is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in employment and educational opportunity. This policy specifically prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, sex (including pregnancy), color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, political affiliation, family medical history or genetic information, or against otherwise qualified persons with disabilities in educational and employment opportunities, programs and activities. Some of these vocational programs offer admission based on selective criteria through a separate admissions process that is non-discriminatory. These programs are Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Services, Health Information Management, Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Respiratory Therapy, and Veterinary Technology.
