Open registration for Northern Virginia Community College’s spring 2017 semester starts Nov. 14.
Students can secure their classes now while the most choices are available without paying tuition until Dec. 13. Starting Dec. 13, tuition is due by 5 p.m. on the next business day after registering.
Online registration is open 24 hours a day at www.nvcc.edu/startstrong and personal assistance is available during normal business hours at NOVA’s six campuses in Alexandria, Annandale, Loudoun, Manassas, Springfield and Woodbridge.
Students must register by 11:59 p.m. the day before a session begins. The spring 16-week session and first eight-week session begin Jan. 9, with additional sessions starting throughout the semester.
Hundreds of online courses are offered for students who prefer independent study. Online courses, which start at multiple dates throughout the year, are best suited for students with self-discipline and good Internet skills.
NOVA’s in-state tuition is the best educational value in the area and all students are encouraged to investigate financial aid opportunities that make college even more affordable.
