In an effort to support students’ successful transition and integration into college life, Northern Virginia Community College will host several Fall 2016 New Student Orientation events for adult learners.
The purpose of the new student orientation is to prepare adult learners to be academically successful and to offer them an opportunity to connect with others who are in a similar life circumstance. This orientation is for those who are: 1) over the age of 25 and first-time college students; 2) transferring into NOVA from another college/university or 3) returning to college after a leave of absence.
