Northern Virginia Community College’s Loudoun Campus will hold a job fair for potential part-time instructors April 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Higher Education Center, Room 203. The campus is at 2100 Campus Drive in Sterling.
Part-time instructors, also known as adjuncts, are needed in biology, chemistry, engineering, veterinary technology, math, developmental math, psychology, communication studies and English.
For most disciplines, applicants must have a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline. To teach developmental math, a bachelor’s degree in math or math education is required. For veterinary technology, a bachelor’s degree or higher in animal science, veterinary medicine or veterinary technology and at least two years of full-time occupational experience is required.
