The Northern Virginia Community College Board will hold a meeting on Monday, May 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the large boardroom of the Brault Building at 4001 Wakefield Chapel Road in Annandale.
Items on the agenda include special recognition of David Liendo, recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship; a president’s report that consists of highlights from the 2011-2012 Academic year, as well as special reports on workforce development and 2012-2013 College Board objectives.
There will be several pre-committee meetings immediately preceding the full board meeting to discuss planning strategies for the Board, next phases for developing closer community ties, budget, building and sites, curriculum and community relations.
