Registration is taking place now for an eight-week session that begins on Oct. 20 at Northern Virginia Community College. Students may enroll 24 hours a day at www.nvcc.edu or 703-323-3770.
Courses in the eight-week session cover the same material and award the same credits as semester-long classes. NOVA offers sessions of various lengths, as well as day, evening, weekend and online courses, to make it easy for students to schedule classes around work and other responsibilities. Online courses offered through NOVA’s Extended Learning Institute start at different times throughout the year.
NOVA’s in-state tuition is the best educational value in the area. Many students qualify for financial aid to help pay for their tuition and buy books. To learn more about financial aid, go to www.nvcc.edu/finance.
