Michael Francis paintings on display at the Loudoun Campus of NOVA

“Median Trees & Underpass,” an oil painting by Michael Francis, will be on exhibition in Waddell Art Gallery at NOVA-Loudoun Jan. 7 to Feb. 8.

“Driveway Street Highway: Recent Paintings” featuring artwork by Michael Francis will be on exhibition Jan. 7 to Feb. 8 in Waddell Art Gallery at the Loudoun Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. A free gallery talk, open to the public, will be held Jan. 23 at 11 a.m.

Francis’ art expresses the rhythms and energies of the times we live in. His award-winning paintings and prints portray our world in vibrant color, movement and fascinating perspectives. He is a master in oils, acrylics, watercolor, drawing and printmaking mediums. A popular educator, Francis teaches in the United States and abroad. His studio is in Washington, D.C.
