Sixth Annual NOVA Idol Finale Featuring WTTG’s Tony Perkins as Guest Judge

What On Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m., 15 of the top and brightest singing sensations will battle for the title of this year’s NOVA Idol. In addition, four students from area high schools will compete in a separate competition that evening to win the high school division.

In its sixth year, NOVA Idol continues to be a valuable college-wide event with more than 250 students from NOVA’s six campuses making up the competition pool. Every year, the votes of both audiences and judges determine who the first, second and third place winners are. The grand prize winner will receive $3,500, second place $2,500 and third place, $1,000. Also making an appearance as a celebrity judge, will be Tony Perkins, the morning weather personality for WTTG Fox 5 in Washington D.C.
