Northern Virginia Community College Board meeting scheduled for March 16

The Northern Virginia Community College Board will meet on Monday, March 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Room 307 at NOVA’s Reston Center, located at 1831 Wiehle Avenue in Reston.
Board chair Greg Schuckman will preside over the meeting. Items on the agenda include an update on the Reston Center by Provost Anthony Tardd and a briefing on the recent General Assembly session by Del. Chuck Caputo of Virginia’s 67th district. In addition, Daniel G. LeBlanc, Senior Advisor to the Governor for Workforce, will discuss Virginia’s Career Pathways Strategic Plan. NOVA President Robert G. Templin Jr. will report on the implications of the Commonwealth’s economic downturn and update the board on the College’s Achieving the Dream initiative.
