Connect With NOVA Online
August 24, 2009
Marketing and Communications is proud to announce that NOVA has expanded its Internet presence. You can now interact with NOVA on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, LinkedIn, iTunes U and YouTube.
Become a fan. You will find us under the name NOVAaccess. You will discover and learn a lot about NOVA through our new social networking sites. Updates are made on a daily basis.
As our fan on any of these sites, you will have access to the latest events and programs taking place at each NOVA campus. It is also a great way to connect with NOVA students, alumni and other faculty and staff.
Everything listed on the NOVA News & Events calendar is automatically posted to the social networking sites Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and LinkedIn. You are invited to submit any NOVA news and events you want to share. Contact Kimberly Evering from the Office of Web Services and Digital Media (WSDM) at 703-323-3586 or firstname.lastname@example.org to have your content published on all of NOVA’s social networking sites.
You can also find us on iTunes U, a mobile learning tool featuring free lectures, language lessons, audio books and more. Watch free open courses taught by your fellow NOVA professors. Create your own informative podcasts to share on NOVA’s iTunes U channel.
Make your own instructional video clips to feature on NOVA’s YouTube channel. YouTube is a video sharing Web site where users can upload, share and view video files. Contact Robert Brown from the WSDM at 703-323-3518 or email@example.com to have your podcasts posted on iTunes U or your videos published on NOVA’s YouTube channel.
As the fall semester quickly approaches, now is the perfect time to take advantage of our new online marketing and communication tools. The links to our social networking sites, along with our iTunes U and YouTube channels can be found on the home page of the NOVA Web site in a box titled Connect With NOVA.
