What: Pancake breakfast for veteran faculty, staff

Northern Virginia Community College President Scott Ralls and other members of the college’s Administrative Council will don aprons and chef’s hats to cook a full pancake breakfast to honor NOVA’s veteran faculty and staff. The event will be held at the new Regional Center for Workforce Education and Training at NOVA’s Woodbridge Campus, 2645 College Drive, Woodbridge, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 11.
Just over 300 of NOVA’s faculty and staff have served our country. In addition, NOVA has a total of 5,400 veteran students and 2,200 active duty military. 650 veterans graduated from NOVA programs last spring. NOVA’s Office of Military and Veterans Services (OMVS) is a centralized office designed to provide comprehensive resources to veterans and military related personnel who are utilizing VA and tuition assistant educational benefits.
