The Diversity Committee at Northern Virginia Community College’s Alexandria Campus presents the Dr. Joseph Windham Student Voices Conference where selected students will showcase their academic work of unusual depth and quality.
The selected participants will make a 10-12 minute presentation. Students are grouped by a series of 50-minute panel sessions followed by a Q&A interaction with the audience. The students can present on a number of topics including literature, race relations, women and gender studies, economics and globalization and language and cultural studies.
