Attorney General Mark Herring to hold veterans legal services clinics


Northern Virginia Community College’s Annandale Campus will be one site for a new partnership with the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS), Virginia State Bar (VSB) and Virginia’s Attorney General Mark R. Herring. The Attorney General will hold the first ever pro bono Veterans Legal Services Clinics to provide estate planning services to low-income veterans throughout Virginia.

Volunteer attorneys from the Office of the Attorney General and VSB will be available to serve veterans by drafting wills, powers of attorney and advance medical directives. The clinics are scheduled to take place in multiple locations during the first week of March.


  • 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday March 1, Tidewater Community College, Chesapeake Campus
  • 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday March 2, J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, Parham Road Campus
  • 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday March 3, Virginia Western Community College
  • 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday March 4, Northern Virginia Community College, Annandale Campus, 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, Building CA Conference Room 111
